HappyI got a job. *0* Me. A job. FINALLY.
... seriously, after nearly 3 years without a job, this is such a welcome change. Plus, it's a well-known toyshop, and I LOVE IT. So much. Not only do I get to play with the toys... I get to stack them on shelves too xDD
Tuesday was my first day. Whoop, lots of paperwork. LOTS.
Wednesday, I spent most of my hours stacking up shelves that lined one huge wall with Lego boxes. That was fun. Not. You have no idea how annoying it is to first get some 200 boxes of different sizes from the storage to the shelves, then organise them by series, then by groups, then size. Jesus. But, I had fun.
Today (Thursday) I was on the tills. Couldn't get the barcodes to work at first, and so I had to void the last transaction alot. But I got the hang of it really quickly, and towards the end managed to chat to customers and kids confidently enough. Great times.
And the other staff... they're all so great. So great. Thre's nothing else I can say, really. ^^
Hopefully they'll give me a permanent job after the Christmas Season. I'm really enjoying it. -squeals-
Anyway.
In other news, today is the day of the first Art Group meeting... Yeah, probably forgot to tell that I've started an art group with Clue; it's for the residents of the hostel, and today we meet for the first time. So, excited about that too. (: Should be great fun.
20th of this month, Michelle's (workmate) birthday bash.. no clue what we're doing. Going drinking, most probably. Yey. xD
31st, obviously Halloween... not allowed to trick-or-treat in this hostel; it's paganism and they don't agree to that. Bollocks. D:
Uhm... 10th Nov, going to see some LED juggling display/performance at the Watford Palace Theatre;
